I have some old cherry boards with a live edge that I am making inot a coffee table for my daughter. I am looking for ideas on how to clamp them during the joinery stage, since there is no flat edge to push against. I can send pics of the layout, but I think the issue is pretty clear. I am concerned about damaging the live edge in the process.

Thanks. Similar to what I was thinking, but better protection for the live edge. This glue up has 5 course, so I am planning to glue up the 3 middle course first, then add the live edge courses on the outside.
