Joining plywood together edge to edge securely,,,, but not permanently
Background:
The back seats in my truck fold down, but leave a lot of gaps between and around the folded seat backs. This is not a problem for luggage, but it is for my dogs. So, I cut a piece of plywood that follows the countour of the truck; covers everything and closes the gaps. The only problem is that it won’t go in in one piece, so I need to cut it into three pieces. Once inside, those pieces must be securely joined so they don’t seperate, but ultimately, they need to come apart again. I want to be able to undertake the assembly/disassembly activity without tools. I’ve seen a variety of clips etc, but I’m wondering what others have seen or used. If you have any ingenious ideas, please let me know!

Not exactly what I would call ingenious
Why not just hinge the pieces together, put it in place and unfold it.

Reminded me of the line in "Raising Arizona", when the jail-breaker, prior to robbing the convenience store, asks, "Do these balloons blow up in funny shapes?"
"Not exactly, young feller, unless you think round is funny."

Stage and set building
Do a google search for stage or set building. There are quite a few dedicated components made to allow quick and easy set up and tear down.
Go look at the Lee Valley hardware section.
Check out the Hafele site.
Sorry, I know that you want suggestions for specific products, but a lot of the selection depends on what tools and skills you have, and the actual layout of the connections.
I think I would glue some heavy canvas on the joints to act as a hinge, same as you do on tambor doors.
Lamello makes a joiner called Clamex that would be perfect. Anybody know where I could get a small quantity of them?
You might try Lee Valley, if not a company in San Francisco called Macmurray Pacific http://macmurraypacific.com/catalog.html?site=mp1 They are a hardware wholesaler with a catolog that is about 500 pages. Give them a call if you know the name of the product your looking for they can tell you if they have it. Some items they will sell in small quantities.
Parliament Hinges
Hi,
I had a similar problem with something I built. I used Parliament hinges like these (http://www.alltools.co.uk/products.asp?partno=IZ1HE355)
Fit the hinges across the join of two boards so they fit together tightly then knock out the hinge pins
Replace the pin with a slightly ground down 6" nail (grind the tip off too)
To join the boards, butt them together and slide the nail into pin hole.
Pull the pin out again to disassamble.
It works a treat for me.

Pocket Screws
What about trying pocket screws? Put one in the middle or one on each side of the two joints. Just unscrew 2 or 4 screws when you want to remove.
