Jointability – Opinions Please
I am looking into buying the Jointability, made by Hawk Woodworking Tools (www.jointability.com). Everything I have read about this tool is positive. However, I have not heard too much from people here on FineWoodworking about it. Does anyone own/use this tool? If so, what is your opinion? Do you know of any magazine reviews about it?
Thanks!

I've seen it and I know someone who has one. You can buy a realy jointer for that kind of money(the bit isn't cheap) and do many more things. For on-site work I could see it coming in handy but then again they make bench top jointer nowadays.
Matthew,
I have owned the Jointability for several years and use it almost daily. It is an excellent tool and worthy of consideration, especially if you do not own a jointer, or own a short bed jointer. I have the 8' model and would not part with it. I posted a detailed review, including its good and bad points at: http://www.thewoodshop.20m.com
