   dnno:  You're likely to get many more responses to your "survey" if you title your thread "Grizzly jointer??" or something like that.  Don't think you can change it though.  You could delete your original message by editing and repost though.

      The Grizzly jointer compares to most in  the 6" class. I got the Sunhill at $325. Love it. You might also consider these: Bridgewood and Yorkcraft. All considerably less than the Delta and Jet and get the same job done.

   Which Grizzly 6" jointer?  I like the 1182 which has a magnetic switch and your choice of hand wheels or levers.
