Can anyone comment on or compare an Oliver 8 or 10 inch jointer with another manufacturer’s?

I have no idea but their sales pitch on..
"while the noise reduction slots near the cutterhead ensure that you can hear yourself think, " sold it to me! AND I'm hard of hearing!
DO not judge on what I say but I would think it's hard to beat a Oliver!
All I know about these machines is that they are made buy a company that bought the old Oliver name and are not the same as the old Olivers that so many people rave about on the OWWM website. I have use several old 12" Oliver jointer and they are great machines. Several of the Grizzly jointers look the same as the new Olivers. I am sure you will be fine with either.

Here's a review of the Oliver 10" jointer:

Since Grizzly introduced their parallelogram design of the 10" and 12" jointers, I would find out more info and reviews, today, before making the purchase.
