Hello everybody!

I am contemplating taking a plunge and buying this old 16″ Jointer but i have a few concerns and wanted to get a better opinion. 

The seller is unsure of the manufacturer and it is partially restored, but not finished. 

The seller wants $1600 and says its 90% restored and needs final table adjustment and motor and controller but a 7hp 3ph motor is included. It seems reasonable to be 

I was hoping somebody might have some insight as to who the manufacturer is. O was thinking it looked like a porter but I am far from an expert on the subject
