I am having a problem with my 6″ Jet jointer, when I run matreial through my Jet jointer I end up with A rippled or wavy edge & some times the wood rip, its not nice and flat like it should be. I have had the blades sharppen but still the same problems. Most of the time I only take off about 1/16″ to 1/8″ at a time. Can you please help me.
Thank You, Mike Lehmann

try slowing down your feed rate. It sounds like you are going too fast over the blades which will cause excessive mill marks and tear-out. Also- check your blade heights- it could also be that one blade is set higher than the rest and is doing all the work.
