A tree is growing in my wood pile. It’s a volenteer, so I can’t identify it.. At first glance it looks a bit like a Maple tree. (at least the leaves do) yet at the base of many leaves next to the branch is a redish fruit that looks a bit like a boysenberry..
very fast growing, (it’s on the north side of a garage and is over twenty feet tall in just a few years)
Any guesses?

View Image...This sure looks promising...I mean, having two rank Liberals like you and Mark at each other's throats...Either of you wanna buy any WMDs?
At each others throat?
Nah, we're laughing it up! havin' fun..
I know you conservatives don't understand the concept but com-on over to our side, we'll show you what fun is..

I don't know, Frenchy...If your definition of "havin' fun" is anything like Bill Clinton's, I think I'll pass.
Bill's a lot smarter than I am,, while he was president I was getting ready to build my timberframe.. Now he's sitting in an office enjoying the new lower taxes that Bush is giving him and his wife...
If you can post some pictures of the leaves, fruit and bark it can likely be identified fairly easily.

Maples don't have berries. Do you know what mulberry looks like? Dogwood has opposite braching like maple and red friut but the red fruit appears in the fall.
