This is the second forum I have ever joined. Shoulda been here years ago. It will take a while for me to find my way around because this one isn’t set up particularly well. I’m surprised considering the exceptional high quality of the magazine. I’m building 18″x 48″ forms for bending plywood. 3/8″ baltic birch. Can anybody point me in the right direction? keywords:bending plywood, bending forms, skimboards, soaking vs steam. building bent forms, carbon fiber, working with bamboo plywood

I have a lot of experience with form bending wood by stack laminating. I might be able to be of some help. Try me, the worst things would be that I don't know.

Can you provide a brief description of what you're trying to do? I've never seen mention of using hot water or steam to bend plywood.
