Here’s a cool little plan for a small Keep Sake Box. I guess the cool thing about it is that it uses no glue or fastners of any kind.

Thanks for the post.
Maybe I'll find out how author drilled the holes.
I have built many little boxes that had wooden hinges and pinned corners but I have never found a way to drill a 'perfect' small hole
through wood that was over about 6 inches long.
NICE little box by the way.
Thanks again

"I have built many little boxes that had wooden hinges and pinned corners but I have never found a way to drill a 'perfect' small hole through wood that was over about 6 inches long."
In this case, the deepest holes were only 2-1/2":
"The top pins were driven about 2 ½” while the bottoms were driven at least past the first dovetail."
From my own experience: (1) Whenever possible, drill a deep hole from both ends. (2) Use a good, sharp drill bit (brad point or Forstner for anything over 3/16" diameter). (3) Use a drill press. (4) Drill only as deep as you need to.

Yeah what Steve said:) That's actually all I did too just drilled in from both ends enough to catch a couple of the tails and pins. Good thought though I will see if I can't get the drawings revised to illustrate that point.
Thanks,
Ron
