Kieninger grandfather clock movement parts
My late husband built a grandfather clock in the 80’s? which I no longer have. I found a box of brand new pieces in original boxes & am hoping to find out if I could sell them and how much they might be worth. I have a Keininger movement (it’s brass/bronze color material, the main part of the clock including dials the dials & has 6 chains hanging down along with some hollow tubes & caps, & some metal thin rods. Also a cleaning type kit. If anyone can help me figure out what I should do I appreciate it so very much. I already gave away in a big donation to operation kindness the 3 very heavy weights & pendulum before I realized they were most likely part of this stuff. Thanks for any help you could give me.

I think you'll find it harder to sell if it's not complete. The weights and pendulum are matched to a specific movement, and you may not be able to fi d replacement. If you can get those parts back, it will make finding a buyer easier.
Thx for your input. I contacted operation kindness & because it's been over 2 weeks they have no way of knowing where they went. Just my luck! Oh well I'll try to post on ebay & see what happens. Thx again.
There are grandfather clock repair shops here and there, they may be interested for the parts.
Thank you for your reply.
The weights and pendulum could probably be replaced. The movement will have some identification numbers on it. See if you can locate those, record them, and then give Blackstone Manor Clock Repair a call:

These guys are among the few left and repair clocks worldwide. They may be able to help figure out what you've got.
