I’ve been looking for an unfinished king sized bed made of pine in country or traditional style but to no avail. I can’t even find plans to build my own. Any leads or ideas out there??

Hi LunaThree,
You don't mention your level of expertise in your post, so I've got to make some basic assumptions. I'll assume that you are an intermediate level amateur (for love rather than money) woodworker.
Regular type beds are a pretty easy thing to design and make. Get a standard set of side rail to head/footboard connectors and go to work.
The June, 2002 issue (#156) of Fine WoodWorking had an article on building an Arts & Crafts bed with dimensions for a queen. Using this to provide the structural aspects the visual aspects could be modified to other styles.
Hi Lee,
I'm trying to make this as painless as possible. I enjoy finishing and some woodworking, but I just don't have the time to get too involved. With all the unfinished stuff out there I'm a little perplexed.

To further emphasize the adaptation of plans, I did take the Mahogany bed in FW-156 and made it into a twin Maple bed for my daughter, see attached. The proportions were changed to fit the smaller frame. It is a well designed bed and it could certainly be used for a King size bed.
TMARCELLO,
Beautiful!!!
Oh, the bed is pretty nice, also.
You might want to try Jeff Miller's book, Beds, published by Taunton. Lot's of basic information, considerations and techniques. Might at least help you decide if you want to try building one.
Thanks DH2, looked it over, but doesn't touch on the style I'm lookin for, which is too bad for me...wish it did!
