I plan to make a king sized bed frame. What are the “inside” dimensions for a set of standard, “Eastern”, king sized box springs to fit WITHIN the frame (width and length)?
Thanks,
Watson

This question came up in FWW one time and the bed maker who answered it said he makes his clients buy the mattress they want before he'll start on the bed.
That's a good policy. After making a bed for my wife as a wedding present, we had trouble fitting the mattress. Fortunately longer bed rails solved the problem easily. But honey, I can make money if I had just one more tool. Really.
Gene , By all means get the specs from the manufacturer or seller of the bed to be used . Don't take a chance , that can be a difficult mistake to correct . Depending on the application or type of bed frame , you may want to add to the dimensions for inside clearance . good luck
