I will soon have to decide where to place the hinges on the kitchen cabinet wall units that I’m making. I will have two separate sets of 3 adjacent doors. Is there some standard approach regarding which side to mount the hinges when you have a row of three doors?
Thanks for any help.

I have seen left, left, right, but placement of the cabinets for example near corners of the room may over rule this...

If there's no overriding esthetic question (like placement of the handles), set them up the easiest way for the user. Right-handed people usually prefer doors with hinges on the right, and vice versa. There are often other marginally important considerations - if one normally approaches the cabinet from the left, it is easier to open towards the right, and so on. Think about the traffic in the room and the ergonomics of who will use it.

OH YES! Spend about a month going over all the pros and cons about what will be best, then ask the wife.
Do what she says! ;-)
