Hi! In the house my brother-in-law purchased a number of years ago, he has a corner kitchen cabinet with a broken hinge. Can anyone identify what kind of special hinge it is and where to buy a replacement? Attached is a photo of the cabinet and a photo of the broken hinge. Thanks for any replies!

Pretty standard 35mm euro/ cup hinge. Start at Blum or Rockler and study the product diagrams to find what you think is the closest and buy 2. In your case definitely go for adjustability with the door hung.
That is a not an usual hinge it's really quite common. It's referred to as a concealed hinge or European style hinge probably 120° but 110° will work the door just won't open as far. The only thing you really need to worry about usually is the hole pattern on the door side. Most manufacturers follow the Blum pattern but not all. You will usually find the manufacturers name stamped on them somewhere. It is always best to use the same manufacturer if you can. Common manufacturers are Blum, Salice, Knape and Vogt, Haefel, and many others including brands like Amerock and Liberty although theses are less common as OEM hardware.
The best bet if you can't find the manufacturer is to remove the hinge and take it to a local Woodcraft or Rockler or similar store but in a pinch you can try the Big Boxes like HD or Lowe's, just don't expect much expert help. If you must shop online the 2 stores mentioned above have webstores or you can try Cabinet hardware.com, McMasters or build.Com to name just a few.
PS. Those are pretty low end builder grade thermofoil cabinets so don't go for any softclosing higher end hinges like Blum Motion unless you intend to replace all the hinges, the geometry of the hinge could be different and cause some binding. Stick with basic models.
Thanks for the advice! I will follow it next time I visit my brother-in-law.
Hi! Well, I finally made it to my brother-in-law's, bought a 35mm 110 degree Everbilt hinge from Home Depot (only candidate they had), and tried to install it on the angled corner cabinet but it is the wrong size and/or angle. The cup hole was a good fit though. Here are 2 pics of broken KraftMaid hinge (at bottom) and new hinge where you can see difference. I will look for another store, but don't want to order online since not sure of exact match. Any interim advice appreciated. I'll update with my search.
