I’m building my own kitchen cabinets for my kitchen remodel. I want to use ‘self closing’ drawer slides on the cabinet drawers. Who makes the best ‘self closing’ drawer slides?

I don't know about the best, but I used Blum Tandem with Blumotion and they are very nice, albeit pricey. If you use them, I highly recommend buying the drilling template and set of bits that go with it. Pricy also, but saves time and improves accuracy, at least for us amateurs.
I've also used Blum Tandem slides on two kitchens. They're very nice, in my opinion. Yes, they're pricey. If you go that route, shop around on the internet. There's quite a range of prices for the same slide. The best prices I found were at a garden supply store in Billings, Montana. Go figure! I ordered from them and 14 pair arrived in a less than a week.

The best thing about the blum blumotion slides is that they are undermounted so don't detract from those lovely dovetails. I am a hobby woodworker and have used them on my kitchen remodel. No problem setting them up but you need to get the measurements right depending on whether you are using overlay or inset drawers.
I've used the "Blumotion" slides on a couple of projects but - although they're pretty cool - don't recommend them.
They're quite expensive and I've found them to be difficult to get set up just right. Unless the customer really wants them, I prefer a good quality, full extension, drawer glide.
I have used the self-closing slides from Lee Valley:

These are nice, have a 100 pound rating, full extension and close firmly, they are much less expensive than Blum. Take a look and see what you think.
My shop decided to go with Blum Tandems, and we've use them exclusively for hundreds, nay thousands, of kitchen drawers. You must take the time and learn to use the system as it was meant to be used.
A close second would be the drawers from Mepla Alfit if you can get them. Grass is in third place.

Ditto! But I was dismayed at the price of the Blum and K&V for about 30 drawers. In the end, I went to Hardware House and found self closing slides for around $10 per pair. These are snap close and they have now introduced a "slow", piston-driven model for around $14 which I have used for a vanity and the other half of the kitchen. On the whole I am pleased with them, although, at about 25% of the cost, I am willing to allow that the Blum and K&V might be "better", but I just couldn't justify the difference.
Service and response is excellent, no difficulty with replacement of a couple of defective slides.

I found that same web iste and ordered up 3 pair for my first cabinet. For the price I wasn't expecting a whole lot of quality. I was wrong. These are mainly stainless and ball bearing full extension slides and worked perfectly. The quality is very high. I will be ordering their slides for the rest of my cabinets.

I've been using the Hettich Quadro undermount self-closing slides which I buy from Custom Service Hardware. The people for whom I've built kitchen cabinets with these slides are quite satisfied. They're not as expensive as some other undermount slides and work very well.
I used Blum tandem with blumotion, and the jig for drilling the holes in the drawer. I mount them as undermounts, and it's a very easy task. There's the ability to make adjustments if you don't get the undermount brackets screwed on right the first time.
I bought mine on eBay and saved bucks.
