I have made new kitchen knife handles with goncalo alves. They are beautiful, but I cannot find the necessaary compression rivets to adequately secure them to the steel. I have epoxied them for the time being, but this is not adequate, as they come off from time to time, even though we are careful not to soak them in dish water.
Cn you help me locate the rivets? I have contacted some rivet companies without success.

A Google search for "knifemaking supplies" turned up what you need: http://jantzsupply.com/index.html Search their site for rivets, they have dozens of kinds. If they don't have exactly what you want, there were dozens of other sites turned up by Google that supplied knifemakers.

I had checked several google sites for knife making supplies, and only got stuff for hunting and fighting knives. No rivets were found in any of the ones I located. Thanks for the referral to Jantz. They seem to have what I want.
