Anyone have experience with a Klein Tools pin less moisture meter? I don’t think I can really justify one of the $200+ meters recommended on the FW reviews for my needs. I do have some 6/4 beech and oak that has been covered and drying outside for two years now. Looking to bring a few test pieces into the shop for further drying.

It costs about 50 bucks. It works really well. Sorry, I don't know much about the Klein.
Thank you for your reply. I did purchase the meter you suggested and it seems to work okay on both soft and hardwoods. But then again I don't have a really expensive meter to compare it with. I think it will get me in the ballpark though when I bring lumber into my shop.
