I’m looking for plans to build a Prie Dieu or Prayer Kneeler. Can anyone guide me to a website or other resource?

Try heavenlywood.com for ideas and look around on Google for others. I would recommend you copy dimensions from the church or other churches to see what they have done and then make your own. Get a parishioner to do the homework for you so you don't spend more time on the design than it's worth. I bought hardware for the one shown below from a company in Chicago, but I don't remember their name. (The client didn't like the one their preist was using, so I improved on it.) You won't find a "standard" design, but certain hardware is typical -- or no hardware at all. Be creative in searching Google for church furniture. Good luck.
