I have been searching for plans to make an old fashioned kitchen knife tray, the type that would have the sides angled out and the centre divider would have a hand slot for transporting from drawer to table.
Anyone seen anything?

I know what your talking about I have seen the plans out there. I think it's also called a Silverware tray or caddy.
Is Canada Packers still going strong in Lethbridge, I spent a couple of months there in 99 and 2000 doing a big upgrade at CP. It's a nice town we had a good time there, the people where great.

Canada Packers no longer exists, it has been Maple Leaf Foods since 1995. There are two plants in Lethbridge, a pork plant and a potato plant. I just retired from the pork plant in March. Both plants are still busy. Which plant did you work in?
I was at the Pork plant, your right about the Maple Leaf part. We all called it Canada Packers, because thats what we remembered it as. We would get there on a Friday evening and tear out what we were doing that week, and have everything up and runninng by mid-night Sunday. Non stop chaos, that was hard work but good money. I used to work for a company called Dice Plant Maitanence, out of Calgary. Their are a few hotels in town that were glad when, that job was finished, some of the younger guys were a little rough on rooms.
