Is there a screw size matrix available for the Kreg Jig that tells me if my rail (the piece with the pocket holes) thickness is “x” and if my stile thickness is “y” then the size screw needed is “z?”
Thanks.

Because there is always more to learn!
They tend to give you information for "like thicknesses." But for instance, if my "rail" is 1-1/2" thick and my "stile" is 1-1/8" thick what size pocket hole screw should I use?
A matrix would be helpful when joining dis-simular thickness of wood.

I can't imagine using different thickness rails and stiles. Would you match them on the front or the back? It would make a difference. This would be so unusual that such details would probably never be publicized

All I know is that if you set the depth of the stop collar too deep the screw will come out on the top of the material. I was using 3/4" thick material. I go by this as a guide for the screw length.
Stan ,
I have never used a Kreg but have been using pocket holes and screws for many years and you can address the different size frame members with different length screws on occasion .
Changing your set up jig vs wood will give you more options for different applications .
A more common application may be a say 6 or 8/4 rail , you have to make some adjustment in set up or screw but it will work .
