I need a pocket hole jig, and it seems the Kreg is the industry standard. Are there any others that are as good or better than Kreg? For now, I’ll be using it primarily for face-frame cabinet construction.

CMT Pocket pro. I like this one better than the Kreg. I have both.
Thanks for your response. What is it that you like better about the CMT jig, or dislike about the kreg?Jesse David
I think it's easier to set the location of the hole, to set the bit depth, I put a 1/8" shim on the deck & set the collar.
the kreg is good too, but I like the adjustablity of the CMT better. You can offset the hole for T&G or for thicker stock very readily. With the kreg, you can do it as well, but is more time consuming.
Both are good systems, my personal preference is the CMT.
I have the Kreg jig, but have heard positive things about the CMT as well. I've had my Kreg for about three years, use it often, and love it. I purchased a couple extra drill bits and stop collars, and leave each one set up for a specific thickness of wood. Saves set up time, just grab the appropriate bit and drill away.
