Does anyone have experience with the Kreg top track, flip stop and production stop for use with miter saws? I’m wondering whether these are solid, well made, easy to adjust, etc. In general, are they worth it? One alternative is to make a lower tech version myself.
Also, can you interchange both stops and still use the adhesive tapes accurately?
Thanks.

Not sure what you mean by both stops and tapes interchangably.
I had my own low tech version, then upgraded to the flip sotps. I'd recommend springing for the rails, as it takes a while to make your own.
As far as the flip stops and the production stop, they work well and are accurate. If yo use it set up for the same fence system, you adjust he left and right indicator for the accuracy. If you take it ot hte miter guage, then you need to readjust. I just bought extra stops and leave them at both areas so I don't have to worry about it.
Thanks Craig. Once you apply the tape permanently to the rail, I was wondering if both the production stop and the flip stop on the same side of the saw would register accurately. The width of those stops appears to be different, so I'm thinking they wouldn't give the same reading...but maybe that is adjustable with the hairline cursor adjustment.
I suppose the best setup is a flip stop on each side of the blade, then one production stop which can be moved to either side.
Is the flex minimal once you lock these down?

Dave
I haven't noticed any flex on mine.
