Hi,
I the past few weeks, I’ve seen twice, for the first time (American Woodworker & Woodworkers Journal) adds in magazine about a company called KUFO INDUSTRIES CORP.. They advertise a Euro style table saw for $1995.00 and you get a free 2hp dust collecting system. All this seem to good to be true.
Anybody have heard of this company? Anybody is using the table saw?

I used to work as a tech for a woodworking machine sales company and we sold their dust collectors for years. Good collector for the money and service was great. They've been around since at least 1990. Don't know anything about the saws as I've only seen them advertised for a year.
Sylvain,
I have heard of them, and have some literature on their products. I was just looking to do some research on Kufo saws myself and saw your posting. I came across them on the web a few weeks ago when I was looking for info on euro-type saws and wrote for some literature which I now have. I don't have any info on the quality of their products or services, so if you learn anything, please share.
This is what I can tell you from the literature. They are an industrial maker of wood working equipment. They used to be called SECO. They have several different table saws. The price list they sent me shows the one for $1,995 is on sale, which is normally $2,300, and it comes with the UFO 101D dust collector free. That dust collector is listed at $259. The picture looks a lot like the new Jet dust collector models.
I haven't seen the add for Kufo saws, so I'm not sure about the model you saw. But like you said, the price looks very attractive. I suspect they are trying to break into the consumer market if they are advertising in woodworking magazines. You would have a hard time beating their prices. The other saw I'm interested in is the Laguna TSS. That saw, wich scoring blade and sliding table is $3,995.

K-UFO used to call themselves Rexma Interational "King of UFO" (hence K-UFO) in Europe, I thought Seco was an importer on the West Coast. Anyway, I would never refer to them as a maker of industrial machinery - more small DIY/light trade shop stuff. I've had one of their 6 x 80in belt linishers for about 5 years now. It's a bit rough around the edges, with things like aluminium extrusions having sharp edges, but better than a lot of Chaiwanese stuff, and the sheet metal is a bit thin in places so they flex a little, as are the extruded aluminium tabbles. That said it always works and does the job, so it has stayed the course of time in a small production shop. I've looked at some of their other stuff more recently including the tilt-arbor sliding table spindle moulder (shaper), although I've yet to see the saw, and the only advice I'd give is to check that any extrusions on their machines are up to the job.
