Hey folks,
I’m looking to take on a project where I have a kumiko pattern for the top. Any advice on how to make this structurally sound. I’m worried Titebond III won’t be sufficient on it’s own. I had considered a sort of frame construction with a rabbit to support the kumiko. Not sure if this would work though. I’ve also thought about just making the kumiko thicker to add more structure, but I’m worried that will detract from the aesthetic. I’m looking to avoid a big epoxy pour.
Any thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciated.
