Needing plane help again. I dragged out an old Bedrock 605 from the shop clutter. The blade logo is worn, but I can just make out:
L & _J White on it. With a better pair of cheater glasses, I might be able to make out the bottom line of type. Can anyone provide info??

Hi FG,
From the Old Tools Archive, just one of the first hits I found:
Hey! I know a little about the L & I J White Co. The 1909
catalogue and price list is part of the new membeer SWTCA packet. these
guys made all kinds of stuff. 'Bout a zillion different kind of axes,
cleavers, machine knives (bear in mind these are old tools!), shaves,
irons. Seems like almost anything that has an edge. Lets see, the
company was founded 1837, the first president was Leonard White, and
branches existed in NY and Chicago. They claimed the largest line of edged tools
under one brand name. The catalogue is 175 pages long
