I was just going through an old issue of FWW where I saw an article on using pigmented lacquer as a finish for cabinets. It seems to me that this should work on exterior trim (says it’s fine for bath rooms). The lacquer used in the article is M. L. Campbell and I believe it is the precatalyzed type. Anyone had experience or tried this. Thanks.

There is at least one brand of exterior lacquer - but normal precat lacquer isn't it.
