I’m thinking about buying the Laguna 16″ HD. Anyone had a Laguna bandsaw? I would sure like some feedback. I first saw the laguna at a trade show display. It worked great there (always does!).

I have not used one but have heard nothing but good things. I have also seen the video Laguna Tools puts out and was very impressed. If you call Laguna Tool they will put one in the mail to you. The reason I do not own the Laguna BS is because I have been a satisfied Jet customer and did not do my home work assignment when it came to purchasing a BS. I just went with the manufacturer I have been more than satisfied with. If I have not become a WW who does a lot of resawing I would not wish I owned the Laguna 16".

check the agazanni and mini max saws as well
remember that when you watch the video those super smooth cuts are the result of a carbide blade. i have a 16 sec, and i'm happy with it. it has lots of power and runs very smoothly, however if i had to do it over again i would have bought a big old iron saw instead, and had lots of money left over for other tools. if you go new, shop around a little because all of the european saws are pretty much the same.
