Here is the product I am interested in buying: http://www.amazon.com/Lamello-166101-Simplex-Interlocking-Plates/dp/B0006N2OPK/ref=pd_bbs_sr_4?ie=UTF8&s=hi&qid=1237322609&sr=8-4
I do not need 50 pairs of these interlocking biscuits and I do not plan on making more of these cases that need these pieces. I have scoured the internets and cannot find anot her place that sells lesser quantities. All I need are 2 pair.
If anyone has some extra laying around – I am would like to buy several of these from you. I did some research and it seems that 50 pair is the smallest quantity that the manufacturer sells so I can’t go to the manufacturer either.
For what it is worth – I have some alternative solutions in case I cannot get these particular pieces so please just respond as to this particular product only – that would be the best help for my interests. thanks, Tom.

Yes I have those but I want the lamello ones know where I can get a handful of them or is amazon's 50 pair the only option?

Sure...Colonial saw imports the Lamello line. Buy the hundred pack and sell the ones you don't need.
Judging from my research there seems to be no market of lamello biscuits for the hobbyist woodworker. Judging from the responses I have received thus far, a certain place would freeze over before I sold any of the leftovers and not worth the hassle. Absent a response soon I'll have to pursue plan b but I sure would have liked to have gone with plan a. Thanks anyway to all who have responded. I just can't justify 50 dollars unless I was in business. This project is more like a once in a lifetime deal.
So what is plan B????

There's other types of fasteners out there that do similar things. Mod-eez is one. Titus is another. Hafele carries a lot of RTA (ready to assemble) fasteners.
Lamello isn't really marketed to the hobby woodworker and there apparently isn't much interest in the specialty lamello products to the hobbywoodworker. Having been in the professional field it's pretty interesting as to what's out there. We were using Lamellos in the 70's and it took years before the other companies made clones of the Lamello. The first plate joiner goes back to 1956.
are you still looking for these interlocking gizmos?
Drop me yer address and I'll send you a few.

thanks Eric - I ended up using the metal interlocking biscuits you can get from Lee Valley. Those Lamello biscuits sure look better but I finished my project without them. Thanks anyway and I appreciate your taking the time to send me a post. - Tom.
