I recently purchased an old Lamello Top from the 1980s. The tools looks great and all machined surfaces are still dead flat and in working order. My only issue is that the tool can use a good cleaning inside and out. It is caked with compacted old saw dust. I opened up the part of the tool where the drive shaft from the motor meets the gear that turns the blade. It is caked in old grease. If I degrease this area what type of grease should I use to replace? Also the box came with an original small oil squeeze bottle, where should be oiling down the machine during regular use? Any input is appreciated.
