I have a tool cabinet that was made from A/C ext plywood. I want to cover the outside of the front doors with a thin maple laminate. I would like some expert opinions on whether or not I should cover the inside of the doors also?

ive always been under the impression: Do one to one side as you would do to the other..
Thanks for your answer Bill.
I know treating both sides the same is the prevailing opinion and probably the safest route and I can sure see the logic in treating both side the same when you laminate on hardwoods, but I am wondering if anyone has any experience in laminating on plywoods? Is it necessary to follow that procedure (especially on 3/4" A/C exterior grade plywood)?
Dave, I thought the same as you....it's just one more layer of veneer on the plywood...and learned the hard way. The plywood panels DID warp. Quite a bit actully. Enough that the frame, made of 3/4 x 2-1/4 oak would not hold them flat. Panels were 1/4" oak plywood. You might have better luck with 3/8" plywood, but I would not do it with the experience I had.
Thanks for your insight.
Dave
I've laminated many plywood panels with veneer, and never had a bit of trouble. I've also only done one side. I use traditional contact cement too.
You should do the same thing to both sides of the ply; it's called 'balanced construction', and it is mandated where quality standards apply, like in architectural woodworking. It's a good idea anywhere, whether you are applying laminate or veneer.
