Does anyone have any resources on where I could find a book, or any other source of information on the process of laminating wood

Wendell Castle's Book of Laminations is great. Although it's out of print, I found a used copy through Amazon.com .

Tage Frid's book, "Tage Frid Teaches Woodworking" (actually two books re-released in one), features a chapter on bending wood, including steam bending and laminations. It's a very good, broad textbook in general, worth having in your library.
It does not, however, cover the use of vacuum presses for laminations (although most of the principles remain the same). For vacuum pressing information, you might check out the Vacuum Pressing Systems website, http://www.vacupress.com. In addition to the videos they have for sale, there's quite a bit of free discussion on bent laminations, on the Forum.
