Hi everyone,
I remember seeing a “cuff” (for better word) that is elastic and brightly colored as a safety device for a 4 jaw chuck on a lathe. It is pulled over the chuck to warn the turner not to put their hand there. I’m running into a project that will require one and for the life of me I can’t remember what they’re called and then can’t find it in my searches. Thank you for your time.
P.S. Does anyone else find the ads on this website insufferable? At least they could be about woodworking products.

It called a chuck cuff. Lee Valley sells them.
Thank you for the info. Unfortunately it is unavailable online so I find myself looking for another source.
