I am attempting to build the Pembroke Table featured in issue #180 by Steve Latta. I also ordered the plans. The Angles detailed on the plans for the bricklaid apron do not add up. I did fairly well in high school geometry, and the last I remember 34+35 degrees do not add up to an obtuse angle shown on the plans. Does anyone know the correct angles for the apron pieces? Thanks in advance.

Draw it full size. Don't rely on plans and accompanying narrative for that particular structure/sub-component.
Nice project you’re taking on there. I wonder if that error was corrected in the next issue as an errata. I don’t have my issues at hand.
Even if you find the number for the angle you're looking for.... you should still draw it.
Just looked that up in my copy of 180 and It seems they may have reversed the angles. Try 55 and 56 degrees. It also points out you may have to "fine tune the angles to get optimal fit on the full size plan."
That would make sense since they are complimentary angles.
Thanks guys, it turned out that the angles were indeed 55 and 56...turns out the 34 and 35 degree angles corresponded to the miter setting on the saw. Will certainly draw the full size apron to make the template.
