I built this piece several years ago, but now one of the columns is stuck and I can’t get it open. The centerpiece was stuck also but I eventually got it opened. I put wax on the center and the other column.
How do I get the stuck column open?

Flying blind here w/o photos. Open-ended suggestion would be to put to put the piece in a box /bag with a dehumidifier for a week. The dehumidifier would have to drain outside the bag/box, not collect in an onboard tank. If the sticking is moisture related it should free up. If it is stuck by a finishing product it's a crapshoot.
If you aren't in a hurry, and it gets a lot less humid in winter where you are, wait a bit. As above, if it's moisture related swelling, drier air will help. But it takes time, weeks maybe, of dry air to shrink the wood.
It could also be the finish causing it to stick. You can try some gentle raps with the heel of your hand to break the seal between parts.
If it's moisture you could try a hair dryer

I'm pretty much technically challenged but I think I attached a pic. I'm certain it's not the finish because I've used in the past over the past 4 or 5 years. I'm going to try the hair dryer (if you could see my head you can see I don't have much use for one) if that doesn't work hope mom nature will step in.
It's the column on the left of the project door.
