Can anyone give me a breakdown between the pro and cons of the two Leigh dovetail jig. Other than the price difference what functions can the DR4 do that the super jig cannot?
Thanks

There is a jig comparison chart at the Leigh Router Jig Site.

Thanks,
They look pretty similar with a minimal difference in max board thickness.
The D4R can do variable sized pins. The Super 24 can vary the size of the tails but not the pins. The Super 24 can cut both boards in a single pass for half-blind dovetails. And it is cheaper :).
I'm also trying to decide between the two. Most folks seem to think that for the extra money the D4R is well worth it - I also too often have bought a cheaper tool that I regretted later. But the ability to do half-blinds in a single pass is a big plus if you have a lot of drawers to do. Hmmm....

Obviously, you should buy one of each. ;-)
