I am considering purchasing the finger joint attachment for the Leigh Jig. Has anyone ever used this attachment? What are the quality of the joints? Is there much tear out to contend with? Any information/advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance, Bill

I have this attachment for my Leigh D4. It is machined to a very high quality and is easy to use. Tearout could be a problem on the back edge of the workpiece, but I always clamp a piece of hardwood behind the board to be finger jointed and this prevents tearout. I think you'd be happy with it.
