Here is a story I still have trouble believing. Last August when driving through Canada I stopped at LV in London to buy a Nobex saw and a blade for my band saw. Yesterday I got a check from LV with the explanation that about the time I bought the Nobex their new catalogue came out with a price reduction. Therefore, they were sending me the difference (without asking). Guess who gets my business whenever possible. I may even buy some things I don’t really need (as if I have never done that before. But don’t tell SWMBO).

Yep, they rock with their customer service. This is the 2nd time in 3 years I've heard bout unsolicited "Make-good action." They've also replaced a sub-par item in the same way, can't remember what it was. A rule of some kind I think.
forestgirl -- you can take the girl out of the forest, but you can't take the forest out of the girl ;-)
Same thing happened to me last year. Bought a hock blade for a #7 jointer, a month later I get a chq for $5! It's such a small thing, but it really shows their priorities.
BTW, I got the new catalogue earlier this week. A few new cool tools (they're in the what's new on the website as well). It also looks like they'll be putting out a separate Turning catalogue this year.
