Anyone know of any sources for library ladder hardware? I’m looking for just the wheels at the bottom and top of the ladder and the track for the top wheels. If I can get these I can make my own ladder to match my shelves.
My seaches have only turned up companies selling complete ladders. Apparently just selling the parts is a liability. thanks for your time.

Found this when I googled, but it's still pretty pricy for the hardware kit.

Thanks for the info. I suppose I was hoping to find something for under $400! $400 would leave me feeling both poor and like a sucker...If anyone knows of a kit I can get for $200ish or less, I'd love to hear it.
If you go to a mall in a big city you will see some stores use these things (mainly for decoration). Book stores, upscale clothing stores, you get the picture. When they close those places down or remodel that stuff gets tossed in the dumpster pretty quick. My sister had 4 sets of them at one time and sold them all for a profit. If you want one cheap you gotta go "grass roots", develop contacts and talk to people. Drive around behind the stores and peek in the dumpsters.
There are 2 companies that make these things, names escape me but you can find the labels on the ladders at some of these aforementioned stores. One is in NYC and one in Chicago. Both have web-sites and yes they are pretty pricey when purchased new. I have also seen people mock a set up using inline skate wheels.
