Do you know any good sources for information on finishing rooms like this. I have a library at home that begs for this treatment. I’ve attached a file with a picture. Hope it works. Thanks! George

Hi George,
Frame-and-panel wall paneling and coffered ceilings are very nice additions to a room, and the photo you provide looks like a beautiful but ambitious project.
It's not a subject that we've covered in Fine Woodworking, though Fine Homebuilding magazine has written a great deal on these subjects.
Here is a free article on their web site detailing how to coffer ceilings. Most recently, Fine Homebuilding published an article on raised panel wainscot, which is available on sale as a back issue.
I hope that gets you started.

Thanks, the ceiling article explains a great deal. I think Fine Homebuilding and the Taunton book on trim carpentry will get me going. George
