My L-N chisel set arrived this week and I finally had an opportunity to put
them through their paces.
WOW!
That’s about what I can say about them. Wonderful finish grinding on them.
Nice sharp edges wonderful for trimming into a corner. Only took about a
minute starting on 400 grit sandpaper to get the back polished. They also
took an edge and held it very well in paring end grain on oak. They were
very light and well balanced, with comfortable handles. While they’re very
expensive, they’ll last me a life time, so I think the money was well spent.
When people 100 years from now see my work, they’ll know I cared. –Matt Mulka

Matt, good to hear the great news. I didn't expect them to ship for a couple months yet. Maybe I'll get my set soon too. I look forward to it.
