I just obtained a 14″ Lincoln bandsaw last weekend from a friend that no longer wanted it. I cleaned it up, put a new blade and made minor adjustments already, but would like to find a owners manual for it.
Anyone heard of the Lincoln brand before? I looked on the web for a company site and found nothing. The saw is at least 12 years old, by the date of the inventory tag on it, but I have no other information.
Any information about the Lincoln brand and where to find manual or parts catalog would be appreciated.

If it looks like a clone of a Delta 14" band saw, such as the Taiwanese ones made by Grizzly or Ridgid, it is a probably more or less identical to those machines except for minor details. The manual for a similar saw can be easily down loaded from the Grizzly site. The saw should at least have a country of origin on it that will help in identifying it.
To be honest, the manuals are typically very poorly written and give little practical advice for using the saw.

John,
Thanks for the reply. It does look very much like a Delta 14" bandsaw. I looked all over the saw and did not find any markings indicating where it was made. I found that one gude bearing is not turning and one cool block is missing. Other than that, the tune up went well and it looks like I now have a solid saw.
The tune up articles in FWW helped a lot.
Thanks again.
