I’m in the southern part of nebraska, about an hour from lincoln and from grand island. And i’m looking for a good woodworking supplier. Mostly for hard wood, and for veneered plywood.
anyone know the skinny on the area?

Not quite in your stated range but...I'm from Virginia but Midwest Woodworkers Inc. in Omaha looked pretty good when I visited there.
Call a local cabinet shop there.
Try Hardwood Heaven in Lincoln. They are near the state pen. I'm in Lincoln often and enjoy the stop. I agree with the earlier suggestion about Midwest Woodworkers in Omaha.
