When I click on the ‘Visit Website’ link in a User Profile I get the following:
http://www.prospero.com/?404=http://forums.taunton.com/dir-app/bbcard/www.woodmangler.com
http://www.prospero.com/?404=http://forums.taunton.com/dir-app/bbcard/www.bbarnold.com
Example 1 is user ID ‘Mangler’ — his website is at the end of the URL above.
Example 2 is my user ID ‘BArnold’ — my website is at the end of the URL.
Shouldn’t these be taking you straight to the user’s website?
My link below works OK.

Looks to me like they're trying to, and failing. Notice the 404 in the URL. That's the error code for page not found. So they're trying to do a redirect and for some reason it's not working. You can edit the URL, take out all the Taunton stuff and leave only the real URL at the end, and that works just fine, as long as the referenced site is still on line. Clumsy, but better than nothing.
Yeah, I've done that. I'm just a believer in fixing what's broken...

Bill, a suggestion (I'm a believer too): Send a note to [email protected] That'll get to Mark and he should be able to help out.forestgirl -- you can take the girl out of the forest, but you can't take the forest out of the girl ;-)Another proud member of the "I Rocked With ToolDoc Club" .... :>)
Thanks for the suggestion, forestgirl. I just took care of it.
