Would appreciate suggestions for sourcing rough lumber in the litchfield county, CT area. In particular, places that might be open on saturdays. For work reasons, I am rarely able to get to a mill or shop during normal M-F hours. I’m familiar with Cole Bros. in Woodbury, but they’re only M-F. Thanks in advance

Bill,
I live in Watertown and work in Newtown. Give Conway Hardwood in Gaylordsville a try. They're open from 8:00 am to noon on Saturdays. I take 317 to 67 and on into New Milford. Take 7 north out of town and Conway is on the left. The lumber yard is indoors and right on 7. The mill where they make flooring and molding is in a separate building that is behind the lumber yard.
Good luck, Matt
Litchfield county danbury rough sawn lumber
I have moved to Litchfield county and haveing a difficult time finding rough sawn lumber for furntiure projects. Conway's quality has been less than desireable, just called for 8/4 walnut and was told I wouldn't be happy with the small amount in stock. Any help would be appreciared
