Does anyone have the low angle smoother?
Any comments besides how great it is?
if you could buy it again would you get an low angle, standard, or the high angled smoother?
Any one use an of the scraper planes?
I have a stanley 80 scraper thinking about the plane any comments?

I got a LN low-angle smoother a couple of months ago, and with the wild grained woods that I work with, I find myself reaching for it more and more often. In fact, it seldom leaves the bench top. Love it and am thinking of getting the low-angle jack also.
Spendy, but worth it. (as Norm would say).
Ever try the High angled frog on the #4?
Purchased the low angle jack year or so ago, and as said earlier, it seldom leaves my bench top. I use it as a smoother, only because I haven't saved up enough to buy the smoother. I like the size, good general purpose, I can use it to shoot a board or to smooth, good multi use for the dollars it costs. That's the only reason I would suggest buying the jack over the smoother.
