I don't know what specific type is called for, but I have impressions about three sources of good reproduction hardware. Ball & Ball http://www.ballandball-us.com/index.html has accurate, high quality pieces, sometimes with long delivery times and has been the long time quality standard, Londonderry Brasses http://www.londonderry-brasses.com/ has very accurate items, many of which have a distressed look that makes them very appropriate when the reproduction must look old. Horton Brasses http://www.horton-brasses.com/ items are accurate, but tend to look more like they were new. Horton may be less expensive on a number of things.
Repair,
In addition to what Steve suggested,
Whitechapel Hardware, http://www.whitechapel-ltd.com
has a half-inch thick catalog of all kinds of furniture and household fittings, including locks.
I've used Horton's and Ball and Ball's stuff for years, they are both very good companies to deal with.
