   It's not just you! One fellow on another site suggested that if you ever get it setup...then weld everything!

   The lock mitre is a bear to setup, so you had better have a whole bunch to do when you use it. I've used mine maybe 5 times in ten years, but when I needed it, it was the only thing that would do and was worth the set up time.
   Each setup get to be a bit easier.

   thanks for the input and link - next time i have a few days to kill i'll try again to set up these monsters-
