Just brought in a few logs from my local park and would like recommendations for a sealer for the ends of each log. Thanks

I've used latex paint, and it worked fine. That's what David Fisher said too.

Anchorseal.
Anchorseal.
Anchorseal is the best, but pricey. In a pinch, I've just spread yellow glue on the ends. It works pretty well.
Thanks just ordered Anchorseal
Anybody else experience a problem with Anchorseal II versus Anchorseal I ?
I've had latex paint pop off due to moisture from green wood. I have used any handy wax (old candles, canning paraffin, ski wax, broken toilet rings (unused) etc.), in a pinch.
