How come every time I log in I have to type in my E mail and password even though I checked the automatic check in box?

I sometimes turn cookies off when I leave here, and have to sign in again if I forget to turn them back on, I also never log-out !!
I think it has something to do with cookies in your computer. I found an explanation of this just the other day somewhere in the Taunton forum instructions, but I can't tell you where.
Drop an email to the address below, tell them your problem, and ask for the link on how to fix it.

Do not logout, just leave, go some place else. If you have Knots in your favorites & don't shut you computer off, just go back to favorites & bring Knots back up & you are back on knots.
Have a good day JJBX
Are you using Internet Explorer?
forestgirl -- you can take the girl out of the forest, but you can't take the forest out of the girl ;-)
Hello Druid,
As others have pointed out if you use the logout button then you will have to enter email address and password everytime you come to the forums. If the computer is not a shared computer then I generally recomend that you can just shut the browser down and the system will rember you. If the computer is shared or certainly if it is public be sure to log out everytime. Let me know if you have further questions on this. -Mark
I have found IExplorer to be retarded in remembering passwords. I have used Firefox for years now. With its tabs feature I can geek out on five different threads in Knots, Breaktime, and anywhere else at once. My logins are always automatic, it does have to do with cookies. I believe Firefox keeps its own pwd file for passwords and recognizes them from the bookmarks function or a typed url. IExplorer stores passwords in a similar file as cookies so cutting cookies out affects Explorer's memory in regards to website logins you want to keep.
